A good day. Jim worked on the land that they want to sow in grain. Ben hauled some wood this morning.

This evening Ben & Josie and Mabel went to Gretna. They got books for the children and cloth to make them clothes. Josie ironed all the morning. I have bin at home all day today. This evening Carrie and the little girls come down here and staid a little while. I was glad that they come. We need rain a gain very bad.

Ben & Marvin has gone huntting.

A good day. Earl Bennett staid here all night last night. Ben & family went to Rob Hubbards. Mrs Car went with them.

I staid at home most of the day. Went to Marvins this evening. They had company. Lee & Grace and Mr John Smith & Gallie Burger was there. Reese went to Gretna to meet Jim. All of the children and Hugh Brumfield went. Mr Hargrave was buried today.

A rainy morning and rained a gain this evening. Jim stripped some tobacco today. Josie has had the tooth ache all day. She made her three aprons this evening. The children went to school.

Ben and I went to Gretna this evening. We went for things that we had to have to live on. We had a good trip. It rained while we were at Gretna. We went to see John a few minutes. He was working on his house. I think it will be very nice when he gets it complete.

A good day. Jim & Ben worked on their wheat land. Norman Booker had the drill and sowed some wheat. Ben went to Gretna to see Mr Young about the engine. He cant start it.

Josie ironed this morning. We straitened up in the lock room this evening. Isla Blair come this evening and staid a little while. She wanted a breast pump for Nettie Hendries. I went home with Isla. I was glad to see them all.

A good day. Jim put up the potatoes sweet and irish. Ben sowed wheat tonight. They have gone to Gretna for grass seed. Carrie has a girl born this morning at two oclock. Denia come over here this morning a while.

Josie killed chickens and baked a cake. To day is Henrys birth day.

Clifton and Jane come here a little while tonight. Marvin went to Renan this evening. He traded some chickens.

I got up the pea nuts this evening.
