July 4th 1851 -- 75th anniversary A beautiful day -- worked in shop in morning -- Went to Cherry Hill in afternoon to Sunday School celebration -- Addresses by Dr Boone & Rev Storks - Dr. M called to see Milly and lanced her breast.

----- 6 Sunday ---- Stayed at home - pleasant day -- Aunt Chesney & mother came to see us -- Sunday school & preaching at New Leeds

Monday July 7th Went to Elkton in morning Bought 239 ft boards of 25 Purnell @ $2 for wagon bed - Henry James here for dinner

----- ---- Worked in shop in morning in afternoon hauled in wheat -- Milly still suffering with her breast -- Mr. Sloan called at shop -

----- 9 ---- very warm -- worked in shop -- heard last locust

----- 10th ---- Warm - rain at noon

July 11th

Warm with appearance of rain - Mother came down -

----- 12 ---- Saturday - Worked hard to finish Levis's wagon R M Hayes brought compass home -- Milly improving

Sunday 13th ---- Light rain in morning Milly went to her father's - Attended Sunday School in evening.

----- 14 ---- Pleasant - Finshed Levis's wagon

Tuesday 15 July 1851

Worked in shop -- Hooped Saxtons wheels -- Ellis Reynolds here

----- 16 ---- Finished Saxton's wheels went in afternoon to survey for Mr Faddien Storm came on and stayed all night at Terrill's Cherry Hill -

----- 17 ---- Worked in shop at wheel for Jos Miller

----- 18 ---- Went to vendue at Bradburys mother went home

Saturday 19th July

Worked in shop -- Rain in afternoon -- Milly went to her father's and stayed all night. John Janneys daughter died of dysentery

----- 25 Sunday ---- Went to Sunday School in afternoon. Thomas Miller and F. Harvey held meeting. Collection for S.S. $2.15 -- Mr Helmbold preached at night. Good congregation

----- 21 ---- Went to Miss Billingtons in morning and moved her stable across the road
