Cloudy most of the day but no rain. Jim worked in the garden most of the day. Ben went to the island for guano. Carried a log to the saw mill. Henry went with him. Josie got dinner and supper. She baked light rolls for supper. I ironed all the morning. Tonight John come to see us. I am glad that he come.

9:30 oclock

Jim has a very bad colde. I am sorry for him.

A cloudy day and rain this evening. We all staid at home until noon. John and I walked to Johnson Reynolds. He brough us home on his car.

Mollie & Julia and Christenia and Mildred come with us home but did not get out of the car. Ben and family went to Marvins.

The weather has turned colde and the wind is blowing to night.

A good day. Ben & Jim worked on their tobacco land all day. Josie scrubed floors and got dinner. Kate Harvey & Carrie Smith come to see us this evening. I was not at home. Reese Smith carried Grace Brumfield and I to Mr Worshams pond. We fished. Caught a few. Had a pleasant day. Come by Renan. Clack Hubbards baby was sick. Dr Owen was gone to Chatham.

Ben did not like for Henry to go with me. Said he wanted him to work. I am sorry to ever do any thing that makes him mad. An old hen killed one of Josies turkeys. I am very sorry that it happen.

The boys stayed at home until late this evening then they went to Gretna with Nellie. Brother Letcher and Ernest and Lottie and the children come this morning. I was glad that they come. Denia and Isla & Cordie come to see Lottie this evening. I was glad that they come. Letcher brought me to Tim Bennetts. I left Mabel sick. I am uneasy a bout her.

A good day. Very warm. Jim & Ben finished getting up oats and hauled up some hay.

Marvin solde his land today. Norman Booker bought it as Marvin would sell. I had Norman had it as any one that I can think of. Oh how I shall miss them if I live that long.

Carrie and the children come here a while this evening. Mabel has cried a lot today. I am certain that she is not well. Julia & Edna and Franklin and Virginia Wooding all went to Marvins to hear them sell. Had a car[?]
