A good day. Ben & Owen cut half the day in the pines. Ben went this evening to a cutting match at George Blairs. Jim worked on the orchard all day & did not finish it. Josie is feeling some better of her colde. Bettie Rosser washed for Josie to day. She washes fine. Heard to day that Elsie East has a new boy. I hope they get on well.

A good day. Ben and Owen cut wood this morning & shucked some corn this evening.

Jim worked on the orchard all day.

Josie got dinner and went to Carries this evening. Henry went to school, got knocked in a mud hole, and had to come home to change his clothes.

Tonight Tom & Claud Edmons come up here a few minutes to see Jim and talk a bout West Virginia.

Jim & Ben has gone to Renan.

Cloudy most of the day. No rain yet. The men folks cut wood in the woods.

Josie ironed. I got dinner. Kate Harvey come and eat with us. She worked some button holes in Reese Smiths waists

I made a canvas for Jim. Henry and Edna went to school.

I got a letter from Fanny Emerson this evening.

Cloudy this morning. Clear this evening. Ben went with Mr Dews to Gretna after his car. They had some trouble in getting it home. I do hope that they will be pleased with it. Jim helped John Hutcherson raise a barn this evening.

Josie & the children went to Carries this evening. I went a few minutes then cut a mess of Salit I fished a few minutes this evening. Caught three minows. No one here found it out but Mr Owen. I think he saw me. Josie had a letter from her mother this evening.

A cloudy day and raining to night. The men folks cut until twelve then Jim & Ben hauled some stalks and corn.

Josie & Ben and Franklin went to Jim Powers. Henry & I staid at home all the morning then Henry went to Marvins and I went to Owens.

To night Ben & Marvin has gone to the lodge at Strait Stone I know they will get wet. Josie says she has never seen the roads as bad as they were today. Reese Smith has bought him a bycicle.

Johnson Reynolds has gone to Norfork to see Julia Fergerson. I feel like I know how glad she will be to see him. I hope he will see John B.
